Biography - Who Am I

Jack is a Solo Artist that performs in all of the following genres, Country, Oldies, Rock, Rock n Roll, Afrikaans, Classics, and Gospel.  His passion has always been music, no matter what the genre.  He has an extensive (more than most) knowledge of music from the oldies right through to the now.  His love for music wasn't only the enjoyment of the lyrics or melody moving through the air waves but more the feelings and sentiment that was placed behind every lyric.  Jack was born on the East Rand and still resides there.  A comment made by a highly respected artist was:  “I am amazed how you are able to perform in any genre and make me believe that you are the original artist, I feel every emotion”.

Jack is currently performing in local pubs in and around the East Rand and moving towards Pretoria.  He has completed a number of demo tracks and is currently working on completing his Debut CD which will consist of numerous original tracks written by him and others.  His idols consist of a numerous amount of people throughout the years, such as, Neil Diamond, Steve Hofmeyer, Smokie, Bon Jovi, UB40 just to name a few.

In February 2015 Jack was the runner up in the Bay City competition where he won the 5 Track EP from Stone Studios International in the first competition he ever entered after a 3 year break from music.  Jack is a family man who lives for his 4 boys.  His passion for music has become a part of the entire families’ lives and they are just as involved in his training and growth as his wife is.

Many people have said in the past that Jack has a unique talent that shouldn't be left unnoticed.  He has grown in leaps and bounds in the last year affording him the opportunity to portray his emotion through music.  Jack is and always will be music, he lives and breathes every beat, every note and every word.
